Facts On File, America's leading reference work publisher, has commissioned The Encyclopedia of American Reform Movements for its Library of American History Series. Co-editors John R. McKivigan and Heather L. Kaufman are seeking contributors to write entry articles.

Contributor Qualifications
The Editors are seeking entry authors with backgrounds in a wide range of social science and humanities disciplines. Preferences in making assignments will go to potential contributors with advanced education and a publication track-record in the area of the entry subject, but some shorter entries might be available to authors in the process of completing their graduate degrees. All contributors are expected to possess a proficiency in the English language and the willingness to make their topic understandable to a broad reading audience.

Compensation Available
There is a variety of forms of compensation available to contributors, ranging from author credit for entries, to complimentary copies of the Encyclopedia, to financial remuneration. The Editors and contributors will negotiate compensation based on the length and level of difficulty of the entry. Additional compensation might be available for those who identify images or other supplementary materials for the Encyclopedia. All compensation arrangements must be made in advance, be approved by Facts On File, and are contingent on the inclusion of the entries or other materials in the final published work.

Recently added Chapter 20 Ethnic Identity Movements includes a more thorough treatment of the following Ethnic Identity Groups' Movements for Reform: Native Americans, Latinos, Asian-Americans, and White Ethnic Groups.
The published work will reflect the correct alphabetical ordering of all reform movement chapter headings.
